| 背景资料 | ROR2(receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 2),also known as Tyrosine-protein kinase transmembrane receptor ROR2,neurotrophic tyrosine kinase,receptor-related 2,NTRKR2,is a member of the receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor(ROR) family.NTRKR2 encodes a predicted 943-amino acid protein with in vitro protein kinase activity,located on position 9 of the long arm ofchromosome 9.Ror2 is selectively expressed in the chondrocytes of all developing cartilage anlagen,where it is essential during initial growth and patterning,as well as subsequently in the proliferating chondrocytes of mature growth plates,where it is required for normal expansion.Thus,Ror2 encodes a receptor-like tyrosine kinase that is selectively expressed in,and particularly important for,the chondrocyte lineage.This protein is responsible for aspects of bone and°Cartilage growth.It is involved in Robinow syndrome and autosomal dominant brachydactyly type B.The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor tyrosine kinase and type I transmembrane proteinthat belongs to the ROR subfamily of cell surface receptors.The protein may be involved in the early formation of the chondrocytes and may be required for cartilage and growth plate development. |
